The story

Hey there Pretty, I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Callie Steuer, your biggest fan. I am a mother of five, a serial entrepreneur, and a woman who still believes a nickname can change a life.

How Pretty Sisters began

The story of Pretty Sisters begins in my childhood. My older sisters nicknamed me Pretty when I was a little girl — a name so endearing and empowering it became a source of comfort and strength during a difficult time.

Our family was in crisis. My parents’ separation and a move across the country left us navigating uncertainty. In the midst of that upheaval, my sisters used this nickname to shield and protect me, reminding me of my worth and giving me courage when I needed it most.

That bond grew. We started calling our friends Pretty too. As we raised our daughters, we taught them to be Pretty Sisters, building a legacy of kindness, confidence, and joy. Today, what began as a simple nickname has blossomed into a movement: women united by the belief that kindness is the new pretty.

In 2006, my sisters and I — the Linder girls — took seventy women from ten states on a cruise and asked a question we still ask: if every woman could see herself as the pretty sister, would she not live her life differently?

Together, we show the world that beauty shines brightest when it comes from within.
